  • That would explain it... The other fish bit/ate them. Seperate the docile fish from the aggressive ones.
  • Must have gotten water in them. seriously..Do you have a sucking catfish(the one which sticks to the glass) in the tank? if yes, then she might be the culprit . Many aquarist don't know but if this catfish is hungry then she sucks slime and eyes of other fish.
  • I have 2 KOI goldfish with the others. I do think that they may be possibly the ones "sucking" the other goldfish eyes out. Is this possible? Should I separate the KOI?
  • Lots of fish will pick on goldfish with bubble eyes or protruding eyes. It is best not to mix them with others. Just keep the fancy goldfish to themselves.
