Do you like the Harry Potter series better when it started, or how it was towards the end?

When the first to books came out i really really liked them and couldn't wait for the next one then after i read it i didn't like it much which then made me not wanna read the next one and next. So i didn't even bother reading them all because it lost my interest.

that doesn't seem entirely fair. how can you decide you like or don't like it if you have never completed the whole thing? i think towards the end, it got more exciting, & eventful. i mean, there were some very dark & sad things, so i don't really know how to describe it, but i liked that in each book, you learned a little bit of something more vital to the series & it all just built up.
