Here is the biggest secret in the entire occult world. The only difference, the ONLY difference, betwixt good and evil is in the intent of the caster. Also, there is no reason to be frightened of a concept. If you don't want to do "black" magic, don't perform magic for reasons that are immoral in your eyes.
There are no such things as "white" or "black" magic. There is only magic. Magic is energy directed toward a specific purpose. There is no good/white energy and there is not bad/black energy (that's like saying there's white and black electricity). The only thing that makes magic good or bad is the intent behind it.
If you perform any type of magic, good or bad, you will receive the consequences it reaps. If you want to practice magic with negative or harmful intent, go ahead, but it will only come back to you even worse than when you sent it out.
No lines between white or black magick. It's all about intent. And are you willing to accept any consequences that might be the result of your actions? If so then don't be afraid of "black magick".
white magic is for all good and healing black magic is if you want to bring harm and curses upon somebody so i think you should not do black magic. it is not intirely safe to do and i know this because i am a third generation witch.
black magic is safe to do. but the only time that i use black magic is not to harm anybody but to protect all that surrounds me and to use black magic against someone else that hates me. as long as you don't harm anyone then black magick is okay but be cautious about what you do.
I'm interested to know why you believe in magic but don't believe in God. your thoughts?

You're reading Is there a fine line between white (good) magik and black (bad) magik? I'm interested in WHITE magik but am scared of black magik tremendously. Is it safe to do? Is there a really huge gap between white and black magik?

Great answer sidhedarkness - I don't know how many times I've explained this to people, yet Hollywoodian witchcraft continues to stay on the tops of their mind.

Yeah, it really does. But if everybody knew that the world basically exists in a perpetual shade of gray... ugh. I dread the thought.

If white is good and black is bad then all the world is grey or plaid.
