I have some mirical whip that has the expiration date sept 2007 on it. my mom says it is still good and refuses to throw it away. your thoughts?

I would throw it out. When she starts to use it, get the phone, dial 9-1 and wait.

Assuming she bought it before the date expired if she hasn't used it yet what is she saving it for?

The expiration date is more of a 'best used by' date. Like milk, it can be used after the date printed on the carton. And calling miracle whip dairy is like calling a dictionary educational. It's mostly just chemicals, and preservatives. I say try a small spoonful, and if you don't get ill, cut up some strawberries, and have a snack!
