I'd have to go for an old one - "The Phantom of the Paradise" (directed by Brian De Palma), An odd one - "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" (directed by John Cameron Mitchell), and A recent one - "Zwartboek" (aka "Black Book" directed by Paul Verhoeven). Hope this helps.
