My ex-husband has chronic kidney disease. He is also diabetic, but that's under control and he does not take any medication for it. Just recently his doctor told him to go to the emergency room because his potassium level and his creatnine (i think i spelled it right) was high. They are going to do a biospy on his kidneys in the morning because he's working with 18% now. The doctor also said that he's losing 2 grams of protein a day. It's really hard and rough seeing him like that everyday.
