  • Hmm. I am pretty sure my name and pic look girly enough. What do you think?? haha And yes, I would get irritated if they thought I was a dude. ~+~
  • Um my avatar is a little girl. But: http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/324989 You answered number 1!
  • I hope my avatar is pretty clear that I'm a female. :)
  • As it shows a bald and quite large head, I think it does not look very female.
  • Mine doesn't say much, my picture is of Beaker who's male, but that wasn't picked to show what sex I am. My name leaves it ambiguous as well, but trust me, I am male :)
  • It's hard with mine and it's okay if people mistake me for a male, but I am happily a female.
  • People get confused with me all the time. The name suggests male, but it could be a chosen moniker or last name. The avatar is generic. If you check my profile, though, it makes it quite clear.
  • My avatar is an old gray bag that's unisex. My user name should tell I'm a male. However, I have listed male as gender. I still get taken for a female on occasion. I have longer hair than my wife in the back and store clerks sometimes say, "May I help you ladies, oh, excuse me". Sometimes they forget the "excuse me". I really don't mind. I just say "Yesss.... or No.... in a deep male voice. It does tell me I need a haircut though.
  • The avatar may not be clear, but the user name should be.
  • Pic's pretty obvious, but not the name!
  • My avatar should obviously point out the fact I'm female.. and the name is a little more, eh, feminine also..
  • My current avatar doesn't give much of a clue, but I think the name gives the game away.
  • at the moment..yes it is (at least I hope so), but I'm always changing it No it doesn't bother me if I get mistaken...though I haven't been yet
  • My avatar gives a big clue, considering that it's my own face. But I don't know if I'd care too much if someone confused me for being a guy. I'm more masculine than average women. Plus, I do know a few guys who are awfully pretty. So being called a guy isn't an insult to my looks.
  • For now, I think it is pretty clear. I am thinking of changing it.
  • My avatar and user name don't clearly delineate my gender. I usually correct them when they refer to me as a female.
  • Well my pic is pretty clear that I am a woman,"Kitten" is kinda female but it could be unisexed{?}and no it wouldn't bother me if anyone referred to me as a male. Sometimes I do have "nuts". Does it bother you? I mistook you for a "lady" remember?
  • i think its pretty clear that i am a girl but if people think i'm a guy i honestly don't care haha
  • I change my avatar a lot...and most of the time, it's a picture of a cat. I don't think my username is very clear. I've had people think I'm a guy in Q&A here, but all anyone has to do is look at my profile...it does say I'm female!
  • As for my avatar, I agree with the folks who say it should be an actuall photo, which is why mine is an actuall photo. It's a candid shot or I woulda smiled. I took a good long look, but I can't tell. The tail is in the way. For all I know it is a gelding. I'd lift the tail but I'd pro'lly get kicked, then I might be a gelding, that is if I had the equipment neccessary for a successful gelding. As for my name well, that's perfectly clear, depending on where you put the stress, on the adverb, the adjective, the title, one of the nouns? I don't mind if you don't. Mind? If I had one of those I'd actually be doing something productive 'stead of wasting my time here in the bag of ungenderized inquisition.
  • I think my avatar and name make it pretty obvious that I'm a female. I have been mistaken for a male though, but I think it was just the way I answered a question. It doesn't bother me at all. I think it's a bit funny, really.
  • Well - I think the username makes it pretty clear that my name is Jennifer... and I've never met a guy named Jennifer... The avatar doesn't help though - right now it's a picture of Ralph Wiggum - and he's a boy. The avatar used to be a kitten, which, although is a bit girly, could be used by either a male or female. I don't think anyone's ever confused me for a boy, not that I think I'd really care. :)
  • Barcaluv my avatar clearly shows I am a female and should someone mistake me for male I would be very offended. :(
  • My user name is not clear about my gender, but my avatar clearly is. :)I can't remember if anyone mistook me for a guy before I had girly avatars. I guess it's possible.
  • My name usually gives it away.
  • Mine is clearly confusing!
  • yea, i think you can tell from my avatar that i'm a girl
  • They should both make it clear that I am female and all though I haven't read over my profile. In a while, I think I let everyone know that I'm definately a female!
  • Mine does not identify whether I am male or female. I don't mind if people mistake. Ideas are ideas, and really, it's better to look at them without a filter that says, "he's a guy, and so......" or "she's a woman, and so....."
  • As long as it doesn't happen in person I'm good with that yo...
  • My username is pretty ambiguous I think. My avatar probably implies female, but maybe you can tell me. And I don't mind if people don't know what gender I am.
  • I think it depends on which Avatar I use, but I'm yet to meet a man named Cyndi. I don't know if I would be upset if someone mistook me for a man, but thankfully it hasn't happned yet :)
  • Heh heh, I'm pretty sure it is! What do you think Barcaluv? :D! (Hint: I have a pair of b_lls.)
  • RosieG on AB is a gal..Rosey Grier was a guy..I don't think anyone is going to confuse this Rosie with that Rosey! :)
  • Yes. I do not want to be called a male. That's why.
  • My avatar? Maybe not. But I think my username makes it pretty obvious :) I wouldn't mind if somebody thought I was a man. That might be quite amusing...
  • Well, the name "Jason" should do it. Also, my avatar is an Eagle Scout badge, which only guys can earn. :)
  • Either I'm a chick or I'm a gay man with a name like Faerie. No, I don't mind if the gender gets confused.
  • No I do not suppose it is clear, and no I do not mind what gender people think I am. It is not important.
  • i think the name kinda gives it away!!! LOL
  • my name is pretty much female but my avatar is my twins one filly and one colt. from some of the guestions I answer, someone might begin to wonder, though
  • I consider it is very clear that Santa Claus is not a female. :P
  • That's why I had to put the "Miss" in "Miss Anubis" because alot of members were mistaking me as male. *lol*
  • Yes ...very clear indeed , Barca . I won't mind if people do mistake me for the other ...but they generally don't ;-) !
  • I like the avatars that I have that display women in it as well as guys. It certainly does not reflect my gender. I just think the art is cool and base my decision of posting it on that.
  • its pretty clear im a chick so if i did get mistaken for a dude i would be a little offended cause that means i look like a dude
  • I don't mind at all.
  • well the avatar is my username repeated over and over. i wouldn't be offended if you thought i was a guy (i am a "manly" kind of girl although i am trying to step down to tomboy)
