I have only had eel in sushi, and it is very good. Freshwater and saltwater. I like the saltwater eel better though.

Personally I didn't care for it, it had almost a sardine-like texture and had a bit of a slippery texture.

Eel is yummy, better than squid. I was scared of it at first, but than I tried it and it wasnt so bad. if you like sushi, you'll like it I think...
