no but with you wanting so much money in pennies i could end up spending a large amount on just getting it to you lol :0)

Not with those two but did happen with taxes on imported goods. Regards.

A couple of times when I got the items for a steal. Otherwise, I watch out for some of those on eBay, they inflate shipping charges a lot nowadays.

I dislike the shipping and handling issue. i understand that if there's got be some play but dammit I want to know what it's going to cost. Not what it's going to cost, plus taxes, plus S & H. I pretty much feel ripped off every time.

Yes. I got a memory stick for about 80% off and paid more for shipping. It was still a better deal than the local shops sold it for.

sure. but, I do pay attention to the shipping costs. as a coincidence, I just received a book in the mail about 5 minutes ago. I paid $1.24 for the book, and 3.99 in shipping. It's several hundred pages long, and hardcover. The overall cost of five dollars was pretty darn good. Once, my dad had to fix our TV, and the part he ordered cost something like 12 cents. The shipping was a mere dollar, but still more than the item. Of course, there are lots of scams, I see them all the time - items being sold for very tiny amounts with shipping charges making for the difference. I guess you just have to decide what the overall value of something is, and what you're willing to pay for it.

Yes several times. But I was getting such a great deal on the item I still came out ahead. I often bought books at Amazon that were just a few cents. Or jewelry that I could get combined shipping from eBay. ONce I got 4 pairs of earrings for $.50 each and the shipping was $2.95:-)

Yes. I bought some old bottles from the 1800's on ebay cos I'm sorta a compulsive hoarder like that and I paid more for shippng. But not by much. It was less than a dollar difference I think.
