  • Because there are too many fake ones out there and everything in between! None of them look natural at all!
  • Really? Nobody?
  • oh no, i love me some red head chicks. yum yum
  • They're not 'disliked' as such in the UK, it's more of a long-term injoke. I dont know the origin, I think it's just because it's quite a rare hair colour, it looks unnatural and stands out quite a bit.
  • I think it's because there was once a large number of redheads immigrating into the US and they were poor, as many immigrants are, and people thought they brought trouble with them. Redheads developed a reputation for being hot headed. The redheads in my family (Sis and I) were always treated as special, and admired. My new grandson is a redhead. Edit: see this excellent wikipedia article about it: http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/171787
  • First of all I used to date a redheaded male and his mother was redheaded. His mother was the sweetest and most mild tempered red head that I had ever before encountered. So from that time on I've decided that red heads being hot tempered must have been a myth. It is just too bad that when ever someone sees a redheaded person they think they must be hot tempered. My ex-boyfriend who was/is an alcoholic was only mean to me when he was drunk. Other times he was the sweetest man I knew. :-)
