Yes I have! I think that would be so cool! I would choose a simple background...probably just a really nice color or something.

Alone? All by myself? Just me? Why would I want to do that? What would be the point? I have a charcoal drawing of me and my son when we went to Disneyland..he was six..it was done quickly but it looked just like us then..I had it framed years later, after it had been rolled up in the closet..I treasure that..not because of me, because it captured my son at a particular age, and me as I was when he was that age..but it's all about him, not me. I worked with a gal once who had that done..she said "Rosie, you don't approve, do you?" I asked her why she felt a need to do it..they lived on a tight budget, they had three kids..don't know the cost, but I wouldn't have done it. She said "I want to remember myself when I was young..after I get old!" That still makes no sense to me! :(

No, but a painter has made several portraits of me anyway, because he felt it was a good idea.
