I make my son put the seat back down, and the lid. I don't want to sit on that part of the toilet. However, i also put the lid down after every use.

Up/Down. You ladies are never happy. I left it down once and my wife sat in pee. (She was not happy over that one....) So, I make sure to pick it up (sometimes let it back down). He forgets to look, gets ass wet. (She was not happy over that one either....) My recommendation is to look before you sit. (I'm mainly kidding, we both try to be considerate of the other. We try to avoid the 2:00 am surprises. [Like the lid totally down. that was a dark time.])

We have a very easy solution for this in our house. My wife has decided that it is better if I just sit to pee-pee; this eliminates all of the problems. OK, sometimes I put the seat up just so I can get punished.

I think men should yes, and I think women should put it up after use for equality's sake.

It is chivalry question. Guys usually do put it down for a girl like he would open a door and unlock the door for them. But then also the mainly 90's era or women wanted equal rights, so to be equal if a guy puts the seat down then the girl should put the seat up for a guy. You can't want equal rights in some areas and not others. Equal is equal.

I think after reading all these answers sofar, that there is only one solution to this. And that is to get two toilets, a "HIS" and a "HERS". That should take care of the problem.............LOL..........
