  • Ancient Egypt and Greece were both conquered by Rome - Rome didn't totally abolish their religions, but they both just fell out of favour as time passed. Then, when Constantine converted the entire empire to an official Christian entity, that pretty much abolished their mainstream practice; although remnants of the ancient Greek and Egyptian religions have survived to this day, in the form of cults, or through assimilation into other religions.
