You have to be a person who likes to be in control. You look around and start thinking what it will do to your child, your job, your friends, your life. If you even care about all that, it's enough to make you stop. Not much of a life to give your kid when you're hooked on something. I didn't let it take over my life. I moved out of the area that I was living in so as not to put myself around the people who were bad influences and got my s**t straight.

I don't know if you can say I was addicted, my dependency was mental more than physical. I just pulled myself away from that world slowly. I haven't done any drugs in about 4 years. And honestly, the thought of doing it again kind of scares me.

I would move from my town to another. Less people you know the faster you quit.
