Jesus is the intermediary between God and man. Speak to the intermediary and you speak to God.

First of all, Jesus is God. Secondly, considering the that you meant to say "Father," it wouldn't be so much wrong as impossible. It's kind of like if you're a doctor, and your patient has a Malaria, AIDS, and Cancer. It doesn't matter which disease you try to cure first, because you're still working on the same patient. Christ is one within the Father and the Holy Spirit. There is no seperation or isolation between the three. God bless.

its not going to hurt to pray to Jesus or the Holy Spirit or the Father or any combination of all three.... but technically... we pray, to the Father, in the name of the Son thru the power of the Holy Spirit

Personally, I always go to the Head Honcho, myself..parents usually have the power..children usually reflect whatever power their parents allow. I don't think it's wrong, but why not go straight to the "Big Guy"? If he thinks His Son can be of help, he might redirect..but I'd give Him first dibs on whatever it is you are going to Him for..it's called respect for your elders where I come from! :)

When we are praying to Jesus, we ARE praying to God. He said "I and my father are one". The book of Hebrews, Chapter 4, we read 14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathise with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are— yet was without sin. 16 Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. and in the Book of Revelation, Jesus calls himself the Alpha and Omega (1:17; 22:13), just as God does (1:8). The "Lamb that was slain" sits on the throne of God (5:6).

even Jesus said to worship God only...HE said anything asked THROUGH HIS NAME of God, it would be given.....Jesus did not die for us to gain our worship...satan wanted that.... we are to pray to GOD only, through Jesus name. honor goes to Jesus as God's Son, but worship to GOD only.... if you don't accept or acknowledge the Son, then you are denying God anyway, so praying is in vain.... this is my reasoning from study, alot of it...
