  • No. The only sin is the aggressor's. However, if you ever must commit justifiable homicide, and feel sinful, confess it to God because God can forgive any sin. The Commandment should be translated "Thou shalt not murder." Sometimes it's not a sin to kill; but sometimes it would be a sin NOT to kill. For example, if you are there when someone suddenly "goes postal." If you have anything that can be used as a weapon, you should do whatever it takes to stop him as fast as possible. If he is armed, that means "Shoot to kill" because if he is only wounded he can still empty his gun into innocent people. In a case like that, it would be a sin on your part NOT to kill him. He has forced this choice on you: Who shall die, a murderer, or innocent people? Who shall suffer, a terrorist or the families of these harmless people? The only sin is his.
  • i think its a toss up i mean if you can stop them without killing them then i think it is a sin because you didn't have to take their life just have to stop them. Also ppl that claim they were abused for years then out of the blue kill that person then claim self defence are mental problems i think that is a sin.
  • The answer to this question is "NO", your own inborn ability to tell right from wrong will tell you why. No further explanation should be needed.
  • I know of no religion that classifies this as a "sin."
