we shall have to wait to find out, since such terms were only invented in the 1900s.

An intriguing question... It depends on how you measure when Adam and Eve were. If you do it via time, then they were Homo Sapiens Sapiens (what we are), since they existed only 6'000 years ago. If you do it via supposed mental capacity, then they were the exact point at which Homo Sapiens Sapiens came into being (though technically, it isn't correct to think that there was a 'single point' at which this change occurred; biological change happens very slowly over vast periods of time, and it is only when you look at two distant points that you can tell the difference). If you do it via mental 'achievements', then it would be whenever Humanity started to move outside of it's natural mental environment and begin to explore the abstract ('right' and 'wrong', etc). There are probably other ways of looking at it as well, but I can't really think of them off the top of my head right now...

Don't you remember, the bible doesn't mention evolution. If "Adam" and "Eve" were really neanderthals, than "Adam" and "Eve" in the biblical sense didn't really even exist, or their importance was grossly exaggerated.

you ok ?did i do something ? sorry if i did,

Who knows. I tend to lean towards the theory that the Elohim used an early evolved species such as Neanderthal and genetically manipulated its DNA to upgrade the species to homo sapien. The Elohim needed a workforce or slaves and the "Adam" was just right - till they got another upgrade thanks to the "tree" of knowledge of good and evil.
