  • You both should probably get tested for sleep apnea. I had the same symptoms. Some days I could doze off when people were talking to me then I had the test done and I found out I have very severe sleep apnea. I have an average of 147 "episodes " per hour where I stop breathing and wake up just enough to start again. It is exhausting. But now I use a CPAP machine and it is much much better. You should get tested though. It can put a strain on your heart and cause strokes if left untreated.

  • eat chocolate, but if you can't control this problem, you should go to a doctor.
  • Limit how much you eat during lunch. The more food, the sleepier we become.
  • Try eating a lighter lunch. If you have a decent amount of time for lunch, try eating and then going for a walk or something. You can always go the Redbull route, but beware..they get a teeny bit addicting!
  • You know what I do? I drink lots of tea, strong black tea with milk, no sugar, and that gives me the "lift" without jolting me like coffee does. Tea also seems to strengthen my power of concentration at the same time, allowing me to focus on any task at hand. But beware, I drink 3 to 5 cups of tea at one sitting. Only that amount has an appreciable effect. But it makes you go to the restroom too.
  • yar there are two simple option u cn have.. either u stop having lunch.. OR stop coming to office... by ne of these plants u cn stop urself sleeping in the office.
  • try those 5 hour energy shots, they work pretty good but they taste horrible. if you try them, get either the berry or the regular flavor, orange and lemon are nausiating. red is with ginseng, and i think black is without ginseng.
  • Try playing some intersting game or talking to some one u like or something which drags ur brain attention automatically . Once u start doing the activity slowly ur brain starts gaining concentartion over it . When u think u r no more feeling sleepy then stop that activity and continue with ur wrk .
  • Do something intersting first which drags ur brain attention like playing ur favourite game or talking to someone u like until u become completely active . Then continue with ur wrk .
  • Do you have narcolepsy?
  • go and see the doctors and he/she might say to have axtra time off of work or it might be lack of oxygen , thank you for sharing that with us.
