My cat understood me too well. we were on the floor together and i said to her that i wanted to get to know her in a personal way. so she turned around and offered me her butt to smell. i declined. it took me a couple of weeks of hard thinking to figuire out exactly what she meant by that. that cat is gone to cat heaven. she was a smart cat.

I kid you not...when my cat has done something wrong and gets yelled at...EVERY time he meows back at you like he's back talking! It is insane, I think he just might!

I have learned that cats aren't trainable...they have trained us. Queen Bee makes it known when she wants to go to bed...when she wants to eat...when she wants to go outside...when she wants a snack. I am more aware of how she manipulates people to get her way...my husband, on the other hand, is so amazed at her behavior that he does anything she wants. *Sucker*

She does, to a certain extent. She understands certain words I say to her, and knows that others mean good things or bad things. She understands some things in two languages-English and Italian. She is also very intuitive. If someone is upset, she will come up to them and snuggle, as if she wants to make things right.
