The short films by Laurel & Hardy, which were broadcast in a TV format in Germany in the 1960s. They were very funny.

Remington Steele. The premise was fresh and Pierce Brosnan was suave and debonair and carried off the part with elan and flair. And Stephanie Zimbalist was the embodiment of what a woman can do when she wants to and gets - or makes - the opportunity to do it. (I just added the "why" that I had left off when I first answered this question.)

I would love to see new seasons, or even a spinoff of the X-Files. I was way too young to really understand the complexity of what I was watching - I basically just watched it for the action, and I missed most of the brilliant plot elements.
