  • Nationalism is a feeling of kinship between people who see themselves as belonging to one group, though the ties are not necessarily constrained to them, there usually involves some sort of Racial, Linguistic, Regional, Religious, or Historical identification of the people to each other. This often culminates in the rising desire to be autonomous. Where? Everywhere that was owned by someone foreign. Europe, Asia, Indian Sub-continent, less so in Africa because things were so messed up, huge in South America, Canada wanted to rule itself in that time, you name it. Why? No one likes being ruled by the king of some other country. Plus America seemed to have done alright.
