Alright I really want to know if smoking marijuana kills your brain cells? Did you just hear this from some random person, or did a professional scientist tell you? Is your answer evidence/proof? Or is it an opinion?

uh yeah' it did somethin man but not sure if it was the weed' it stoped me from this job once man, could'nt go to work cause i got lost on the way' so i went home an got high' but as far as i know and i know' its not that bad'an my brain cells ,they are sleeping now so i gotta go roll a joint .

i was told that every time i have an alcoholic drink it does the same thing. never has a joint touched my lips, the stuff is illegal and not regulated... i like my body too much to pump poison smoke into my lungs.

Cough, cough, It seems to me that the government is willing to tell the public any load of lies to keep more money in it's over-sized pockets. Why do they not go out of their way to stop the legal, more damaging smoking which causes more deaths a year than God knows what? Probably because it's also making more money than God knows what. Sure, smoke one joint and your brain will go soft and all your toes will fall off.

"Kills your brain cells" is a short-hand distillation of some of the many things which marijuana can do to harm you. Scientists have studied the long and short term effects of dope; both for and against. On balance the medical advisors to government say that its side-effects outweigh its benefits as a medicine. That's a good enough reason for me to stay away from it. However, many people prioritise their health/experience balance in different ways. If I wanted cleaner lungs I would live in the countryside, but forgoe easy access to all the things you can get in a city. I think body piercings are painful and risky (and unattractive), lots of other people think otherwise. So, did a scientist tell me that marijuana kills brain cells; no. Did scientists publish findings that show it is harmful, yes. Do you care? That's up to you.

No, marijuana does not kill brain cells. There are many drugs that do, but marijuana is not one of them. My answer is not an opinion.
