A single vertical yellow line appears on my screen of my Ibook G4 mac computer. Help?

Is it still under warranty? You might be having an issue with the LCD screen or with the circuitry that manages the LCD display. I once had an old laptop whose LCD screen I partially crushed. I found I'd dislodged some of the pins for the integrated circuits which control the LCD display, causing multiple such lines to appear. Maybe something similar has happened here. You may be able to work around it by using an external monitor, but if you carry your mac with you that line will be annoying, you might check with Apple to see what is necessary to repair it.
