i think mostly trust, and understanding if you can get it:)

Faith is the complete opposite of understanding. In fact, one can see that all the evidence shows what they believe in is a load of crap, but still have complete faith in it.

Trust. You don't need to understand something to have faith in it.

Faith is a matter of believing, and not always in "God", but in yourself, karma, and in the goodness of others.

Faith is a matter of trust. Trust is believing (having faith)in something or someone without necessarily understanding them or it.
