I have never heard the term dying of natural causes called passive euthanasia.

Living in pain?--active. Requested?--active. Vegetable?--up to family. Unable to rehabilitate?--active. Cartoon character?--active.

Removing a feeding tube or "pulling the plug" shouldn't be considered euthanasia (in my opinion). Rather, it's letting the original disease process take its course.
