Why Jesus (God the Son) is called Everlasting Father (Is. 9:6)? He is not God the Father, though?

Many Christian groups believe in the Holy Trinity. It is also known as the Triune Godhead. That concept states that God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are indeed the same. Three in one, if you will. Jesus was God coming to Earth in human form. Jesus was heralded and foretold to have many names. Among them: Messiah, Lord, Christ, Redeemer, Savior, Wonderful Counselor, the Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. Now, there are other Christians that do not believe in the Triune Godhead/Trinity. And, of course, there are non-Christians who believe in God but not Jesus, and there are religions that believe in multiple gods. Then of course, you have the absence of religion, which is Athiest.

Isaiah 9:6 speaks of Jesus and his future role as a Prince of Peace. It will be during His millenial reign and as King of God's Kingdom that thanks to His ransom sacrifice mankind will be restored to perfection and gain everlasting life. He will then fulfill this prophecy of Isaiah and become Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
