You can claim your GF as a QR if: she lived with you all year you provided more than half of her support she had less than $3,400 in gross income she isn't the qualifying child of another taxpayer didn't file a joint return with another taxpayer IRS Pub 501 has all the info you need. www.irs.gov

  • Does your GF have a job? Does she have custody of those kids? Why on earth if she does is she signing the paper for him to claim those kids if they live with you and he doesnt pay child support. It would be ok if he did pay child support and saw the kids and they switched off every other year on there taxes. As far as I know you can not claim those kids, only the custodial parent can. IF you were married it would be different.
