Absolutely not and if it's questioned just let them know you were not going to inform your current employer that you are currently seeking a new position. I've never heard of anyone in the HR field seeing that as a negative.

I don't put a list of references, I simply put "references available upon request". I have written letters of reference I can provide, and if asked, would simply say, "It would be my preference that my current employer not be contacted, until such a time I have informed them I am leaving". Most prospective employeers will respect that.

I agree with Rechoryan, make sure they know that your current employer doesn't know you are currently in the market. If they can't accept that, there might be something wrong with the place you are applying. Good luck.
