  • I agree. You really can't trust anyone anymore. Sad but true!
  • It depends on what hype you believe. Personally, I think all of those who say Fox News is a mouthpiece for the Republcian Party are full of it. The only reason Fox seems so far to the right is due to the fact that their competitors are so far to the left. At least Fox shows BOTH sides of an issue. You'd be lucky to find a conservative on either CNN or MSNBC, while Fox has both conservatives AND liberals on to debate the issues.
  • If we all individually think that 'we need to be trustworthy to others' then this issue can be resolved. However, practically this may or may not happen most likely.
  • Don't trust anyone! Always ask the obvious question Always ask "Why?" Don't take anyone's word for it. Verify and confirm the truth. Always approach from as many POV as possible.
  • No your not paranoid you are starting to see the truth that has been there all along. The media has the power to start WWIII if they wanted to, do you realize that? Look how long it takes them to destroy people's lives by exploiting them when they are having tough times. I'm not a Britney Spears fan but I believe the media has a share in her craziness. Look at politics, if your liberal the spin is most always great for which ever candidate the liberal media wants to spin for. How often do you see anything positive in the NY Times about say John McCain? It's a shame the way the media spins the truth and we for the most part have to believe it because unless we do more investigating we never know another truth.
  • Yes it is sad and it will only get worse as time goes on... That is too bad.
  • I think whenever someone is under constant scrutiny it would hard to be a perfect angel and the news exploit stories excessively so people really are unaware of the truth and fiction.
  • I Think you are becoming more educated. It's always been this way your just beginning to see through all the lies. Welcome.
  • Well, it's a sad fact that the media, print or broadcast lives by the old adage "If it bleeds, it leads". Sound bites, spin, damage control... it's all a game and it all must sell advertising by holding your attention. The only viable way to follow any broadcast media is to decide that whatever you are being told is wrong. Doubt every allegation, question every so-called fact... I recall a local shock broadcast, photos of 20+ "assault weapons" displayed by the DA that were in the possesion of a teen, bought by his parents. The reality of it was as the dust settled they were all BB guns. The successful landmark police raid of the family house found one real firearm and no amunition in the home. Now the family was certainly a bit of a building without an elevator for all floors, but the media played the full shock value to the hilt including interviews of the teen's school administrators and the outrage and shock... Of course parent meetings and counseling for anyone of the school's students who may have known the teen. It was the lead on all local stations... a kid with access to 20 BB guns. Also, the reality is that the only real "political" news is released late on a Friday afternoon... Media and those who follow it sleeps on the weekend... so, anyone who must release some facts without fanfare, does it while the media sleeps.
  • I don't think you are paranoid. In the U.S. most of the media is nothing more than a propoganda wing of the Democrat Party. Fox News is about the only outlet on TV to get anything near the truth. One must be very selective about where they get their news these days.
  • you are not paranoid, most people in the spotlight are corrupt, the real questions is why we put trust into someone we truly do not know.
