I think it's great that you are considering this question because it means you recognize the benefits of your child/children having their father in their life. I was a single mom too and frequently felt unqualified to face the constant challenges and demands of being a parent. Parents usually do have enirely different skill sets when it comes to child rearing - my ex came from a large family and had a much better understanding of what is a "problem" and what is a "phase" with kids, while I was the better nurturer. He was more "fun" and I was more "practical". But kids need both in their lives, and love is the only thing that qualifies you as a parent.
