Well, define 'blind faith' Do you mean as in.. blindly following something? As in a beleif? Blindly following anything.. takes alot of faith, but it also takes understanding. You shouldnt..put faith.. into something you dont understant, you know? ...I lost my thought process on this one. lol. Maybe explain a bit more what you mean, and I might be able to share my thoughts. :) Good question, though.

I'd say it's the other way around. If you have blind faith in anything, than you're a failure as a human being.
-
No, for if they have blind faith in the true God, it will not remain blind for long, if they are seriously devoted to Him.
-
not at all. blind faith in unnecessary. if the bible is a christian's book of answers, they should be able to have what they need in there. if the qur'an in a muslim's book of answers, they should also have what they need. if the torah or tanakh [sorry i don't know the correct term] is the jewish book of answers, there should be ANSWERS. a book full of answers means that there's no reason to be blind about what they believe
-
Hell no! It's actually blind faith that makes people bad, in my opinion. It makes them close-minded.
-
I certainly do not think anyone should have blind faith. That leads to fanaticism.
-
I can't imagine why anyone would have blind faith. My understanding is that blind faith is faith without any reasoning behind it. If this is the case, I can't see how blind faith in anything would be good.
-
Good or bad is of no consequence. They are not saved.
-
No, blind faith is not faith at all. If you have no reason to doubt then believing isn't really having faith. If you can't see, you can't doubt.
-
God does not expect blind faith of us. As others have pointed out, blind faith is faith without reason. God expects us to ponder on His word and ask Him for guidance. If we will do this with sincere intent, then He will send His Spirit to guide us. It is through the Spirit that we receive the confirmation of the truth of God's word and the understanding of what He expects of us. This is not blind faith as some would have you believe. This is reasoned thought mixed with divine inspiration.
-
If people have blind faith it allows other people to control them, nothing good can ever come out of blindly and fully believing in something.
-
Faith in itself is blind... You wouldn't need faith if you got to see a miracle happen everyday, it would be a given at that point!! Its the everyday things that go unnoticed that like kids saying no to drugs even though their best friend pressures them to do them or a devastating car wreck where everyone survives that are real miracles!
