How do you calculate the total size of an online website (the entire site) without having to download every page and file?

I don't know, but I hope you can get a second answer from someone who does!

If you own the website, or have adminitrator rights, you can go on the site with some FTP program displaying the file sizes without having to download them. You could also allow the display of the directory contents in you Webserver.
