My wife has used it as an excuse to up her chocolate intake and I think a lot of people probably have.

Yes, just last spring. It was a difficult adjustment, but I'm doing my best to stick with it.
-
I've always LOVED dark chocolate over any other! Health benefits are just a plus :D
-
I didn't have to add it...dark chocolate has always owned a prominent place in my diet regime.
-
No, because dark chocolate is just too bitter for me.

I like to eat heart-healthy, so of course I have dark chocolate in my diet. My father has high blood pressure. My brother has had a heart attack, and is still in his 20s! And my grandmother, a stroke. I worry about my heart health. Last night, I dreamt that I had dangerously high blood pressure (170/132). I know that's silly. I would be dead.
-
yes dark chocolate is my favorite. :)
-
I eat dark chocolate only occassionally. I don't like chocolate in general, especially milk chocolate, which I find too sweet and rich. People always associate chocolate with sex. I don't know why. I love sex but hate chocolate! (By the way Rickster, it's been 6 days "consecutive" thus far. Your challenge of 30 days might leave me in a semi-paralyzed state. Argh.)
-
I didn't have to add it. I sarted very young and have kept it. I knew as a kid that something that good HAD to be good for you. I have been vindicated.
-
Yep..we're loaded with it. We've been "into" dark chocolate for years..Jim was the trailblazer, taste-wise..then we discovered the health benefits. We have jars of wrapped dark chocolate next to jars of various nuts...walnuts, pecans, almonds, macadamias, peanuts and cashews..we regularly grab a few of each, feeling very virtuous because we know about about the health benefits. If you are a red wine drinker, dark chocolate with some good red wine is wonderful after a meal! :)

I love dark chocolate, light chocolate and even white chocolate. forget moderation. I want lots of health benefits!
-
I have 2 ounces of dark chocolate with my first cup of strong black coffee every single morning without fail! :D Suzanne
-
YES - love it.
-
Yes! We've got 70 and 90% cocoa chocolate here now. It's rich and too much gives me a headache. Yes I KNOW you're only supposed to have 1-2 squares daily, but who can stop at that! ;)
-
Yes actually. I have Intersticial Cystitis and Milk Chocolate is one of the harsh foods that I am supposed to stay away from.
-

Dark Chocolate Consume only quality organic dark chocolate. None with a high sugar content, that has very little cocoa. Go for 55- 70 percent cocoa. This is real heart protection, and long life. Nothing boosts your brain’s levels any better like dark chocolate. It’s packed with heart protecting, and cancer fighting antioxidants It has also been known to lower LDL cholesterol by 8 percent, and raise HDL cholesterol by 4 percent.
