To the idiot who gave me a -2. Why don't you read about all the crap Rumsfield had us pay for in terms of weapon systems that will never work. In the Bush administration the amount of useless weapon systems that billions of dollars were poured into is staggering. Even McCain mentioned it and wants to stop it. Star wars was a ruse to get the Russians and they bit, but it did cost a lot. If you take the time to read about it your mind would be boggled at the waste of taxpayers money on programs, weapons and weapon systems that are dead ends and should have never been given a cent. Yet our soldiers still rely on a rifle designed in the 1950's. There are better version out there, but Colt pays them off and we still use the Colt M-4/M-16. They say it's too costly to change over, yet we wasted 100 times that on bull crap.

Oh, so you think President Bush and Vice President Cheney, have the power to spend money as they see fit? I think the new congress sworn in two years ago has that responsibility, NOT the President. If we used some of the weapons that were developed, the war would have been over long ago. I don't understand why we develope all of these high class weapons, then don't use them. How about a few cruise missles!! And lets test out some of the newer type of bombs that we now have, never mind this hand to hand combat crap, that went out in the last century.
