I live ten minutes from Shea Stadium. Is going to see a Mets game worth it these days, or are they in the dumps? I don't pay any attention to sports.

You guy's just got my boy Yo-Yo because the owner of the Twins is too f-ing cheap to pay his players. I swear being a Twins fan is like routing for a farm team. They develop great talent ,but as soon as it starts to come together they get called up to a real team that will pay them. Congrats to Santana for finally making the major league after two Cy Youngs, and Tori Hunter after 6 gold gloves. Sorry I'll stop ranting , but go see Johan pitch.

The Mets are 2-1 already and the season just started. I am a hardcore Mets fan and I moved to Florida so I only see them a couple times a year compared to when I used to live in New Jersey and see them a few times month. Do it because I am jealous.

The Yankees are across town and are defianitly not dumps watch one of their games instead of the mets a.k.a as you said it dumps. Go Yankees

You should see a game before the end of the season since this is the last year they play at Shea Stadium. Ticket prices will be higher in the new stadium next year. Mets are currently tied for 1st place. I would join you but I wouldn't know where to park now since the old parking lot is the new stadium.

I like 30 mins to shea and i love going to games to see the mets. Although it is getting pretty tough to deal with all these collapses and blunders the mets keep making.
