We did, but once it shot out a 2-foot-tall flame, we decided it was time to cut the cord and discard it. It's been 3 months since I've made toast, because our oven is crap and won't broil without leaving the left side burnt black while the right side barely toasts. We have a toaster oven, but I'm afraid to use it because the last one exploded all over the kitchen the first time I used it.
