call now and explain the situation. you'll look rude if you don't call (he/she will think you are blowing them off) and there is a greater likelihood that he/she will forget who you are before then. call now, explain the situation and don't even make plans, that might out too much pressure on them bc they are so far away. just chat and wait to make plans until it's closer to when you'll be available :)

If you leave it they will assume you're not interested. They will possibly be dating someone else by the time you get back.

If you're interested in the person, call them now. If you wait, he or she will assume you are not interested. If you call them now, you can explain that you will be gone for the next two weekends, but can make tentative plans to hang out the following weekend. Then, call when you get back and confirm your plans.

If you like 'em... Call 'em and let them know. Did you give them your home or cell phone? If cell, they can still contact you, but might believe you're just giving them the run-around when you can't see them again for a while. Call them.

It's Wednesday, I would call beforehand. The person will think you don't like them if you wait too long, and if you like the person enough longish hours shouldn't stop you.
