I think they do - I only use the sheets now and everything comes out feeling great, smelling great, looking great. Give it a whirl.

I think the sheets are better at controlling static cling. That's just my opinion.

We use both... Fabric Softner in the washer, dryer sheets in the dryer.

Dryer sheets have always gotten the job done for me when it's drying time.

I like dryer sheets. Liquid fabric softeners leave a coating on the inside of your washing machine that needs to be cleaned occasionally. +5

I think so. But, I use my dryer as an iron, so what do I know?

I prefer dryer sheets. They work better at controlling static and don't cause your towels to lose their absorption ability like liquid fabric softener can.

They work great for static cling, I never use them in the laundry.
