  • I'm not quite sure what you're asking, could you rephrase that please?
  • Alright, thanks. To be honest, I've always loved gasoline engines and have vowed to never buy a diesel until recently. There are several things about diesel nowadays that make them more attractive than petrol. -Diesel engines have more torque than petrol engines -The new turbo-diesels from BMW and the VW Group have almost as much horsepower as the gasoline equivalents. -Although diesel is said to emmit more harmful particles than gasoline, they consume less fuel which makes them more environmentally friendly in the end -Diesel engines are not as loud or stinky as they used to be Add to that the fact that they last longer, require less maintenance and consume less fuel, all of which makes them cheaper to run.^ I find that the modern diesel engined cars are just as much, if not more fun to drive than gasoline engines. Of course I miss the high-revving, smooth-sounding gasolines, but it's only a small trade-off.
