Probably not. The earth's field is rather weak, and gravity would have a field day. One would need to overcome friction within the bearings, air resistance, etc. Also, the magnetic field of the earth is notorious for being inconsistent. One year it's pointing over here, the next it's over there. There are weak spots and hot spots, oi! it's probably not going to happen. And it can't be gravity free.

You could tell me that vehicles would operate by flying pigs transporting them around and I would think it's possible. There have been so many advances in the past 100 yrs, I wouldn't doubt anything is possible.

No. It is strong enough to move the needle of a compass but nut a 3,000 pound vehicle.

It's already been done! The first mass driver was built in an RPI lab and when they turned it on the weight moved so fast to the other end of the lab table they thought it had dematerialized before they realized it had just moved really fast! And it was all built using just junk found around the lab!
