Would you have joined Answerbag if it wasn't as pretty-looking, with all the fun logos and stuff?

The only reason I joined AB was because I was stalking someone. I stayed because they had cake. So... yes.

It wasn't when I started out. No avatars, no pictures, just basic blue and orange. So, yes I did join even though it wasn't "pretty".

I honestly don't notice how it looks, but I'm glad it isn't gaudy. I joined because of the content and stayed because of the people.

I joined AB after a Google search for belt routing instructions on a 1997 Buick. I never got an answer, but did help a lot of people on their own car questions. This place aint exactly what I'd call pretty. I still can't figure out how to give points, or how and why I get high points for funny answers, and low points for honest answers. I'm just passing time and having fun.

I don't think it made any impression on me lookswise. I just liked the information and the format.

Yes I would, because I did. When I joined Answerbag, it didn't have all the glitz and glamor it has today.

I've been on here for over a year, and yes, it was't always this nice looking. So to answer your question directly, yes I would.

Yeah...when I joined, it didn't look like this. It looked just fine, but it wasn't too special. I joined for the points.....which is a WAAAY better reason.

They were not all there when I first came to Answerbag I watched the questions and answers for a few days before I decided I wanted to be a part of it all

Of course. Most of the time the only things I see are the questions and answers. I never check out anything else, except maybe profiles and the blog if it interests me.

I don't think it is very pretty. I joined because a friend of mine told me how much fun it is. I find those boxes across the top are just plain confusing. I tried using them a couple of times, but they don't work anyway. The blue boxes under the answers don't work most of the time, either. I just wish there was a tutorial that would explain how the different features could be used. Alongside the answerbox, it says "To create links, just type the address with no HTML code" but I don't even know what that means. I just cut and paste the URL at the tops of the links I want to add. There a lot of things that don't make sense to me, scattered around the pages, but I just ignore it. Have you ever clicked on the "site map" at the bottom of the page? It's a real hoot.

I thought it was kind of basic looking. Not really that eye catching at all. I stayed because it is interesting.
