I agree that as a woman I have control of my World. I have never put a great deal of thought into understanding that saying. Anyone can translate it to apply to their life.

Yes, for that is true, especially since it is a paraphrase of a Bible verse. The verse goes like, train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it. It basically means that if you raise kids a certain way, you can brainwash them to do what you will with them, thereby rocking the cradle and ruling the world when they grow up, being puppets of a puppet regime.

I most definitely agree that the hand that rocks the cradle rules the world. I have raised three children and feel I am responsible for the mature adults they have become. A mother is a child's best friend.

NO as I don't think anyone or any group rules the world. But I do believe that parents as a couple can have profound influence on their children.
