Why is it that you ask a question and all you get is negative points? I have asked many questions lately and i get dr'd bad, and my questions are not offencive or rude. Has anyone else been getting this too?

Trolls. There's nothing wrong with your questions, it's just some people go around downrating just to feel they're having some influence. Don't let it get to you, because if you do, you're letting them win. It's not like downrates actually hurt you, anyway.

Yes Trish we do seem to have some people trolling about lately. Not the usual -1 weekend drive byes either although of course they are about. These are regulars that do not like other people to have opinions of their own

Only question I saw that was DRed was http://www.answerbag.com/a_view/2615717 , which COULD be considered in the wrong category. There are ALSO those who complain a lot about spelling. (I answered and uprated, btw.) And, since you're "back", do you leave with anyone not liking you? They could still be around, or it could just be high-ranking trolls. I know you've probably been back a while, but welcome back. ;-)

I haven't done enough here to notice but that people do that bugs me. So I'll give you +1. Not much but maybe it will help makeup for the drs.

yes now and then. It is normally from negative people who aren't that friendly and find it easier to create negativity than compliment others. If your questions aren't offensive or too ridiculous then don't worry about it and carry on as usual. You are probably happier than they are. Don't let them bring you down to their miserable level. all the best
