I enjoy listening to Slipknot but I'm afraid I don't know much about them. Are they racist, homophobes, or anything else I should know about?

If you enjoy listening to them, it shouldn't much matter what they are. My nieces boyfriend said I was a satanist because I like to listen to Marylyn Manson. I also am a huge fan of classical music. I wanted to ask him if that may somehow counteract the satanic side, but I don't think his tiny brain could handle it. Don't be afraid of people catagorizing you over whatever you choose to listen to for music. Just make sure that that's not the only type of music that you listen to. That's when things could get hairy.
