You should see a doctor. Many conditions effect the skin, hair and nails (the tegumentary system). A G.P. please. Dermatologists think EVERYONE could use a little skin "help." But an MD will let you know if it is indicative of a medical condition and will refer you to the dermatologist if you need one.

Try baby oil after a shower. Before drying off, put a few drops at a time in your palms...and apply from head to toe. then pat dry with a towel. it works pretty well.

I use Dove Moisturizer Creams every night. I know it gets annoying but the results are worth it. I always put it on when i have the chance. But it works with me. (:

heya i have been doing beauty for 2 years and when i am doing a facial on people with dry skin we get told to apply cream that covers every type of facial problems but i would go to a beautician and ask a profecinal and if you are using it how long do you leave it till you apply it again. As you should do it regulaly if it is bad its every 1 week but if it isnt bad its every 2 weeks well hope i helped.

Pond's Dry Skin cream. It's inexpensive and the best. Use a little Vasaline in a pinch.

I'm not exactly young anymore but I'm told my skin is very good for my age. I use a serum. These penetrate the skin the best. Try to avoid washing with soap and water. I use a cleansing product and cool water. Hot water will dry the skin. If you can't afford a serum, use a very good cream. Eucerin makes one of the best. Your bed time should be the time to do the most care, because your skin is resting and the product has time to penetrate and work it's best. You are very smart to start using a good skin care plan while you are young. The challenge will be finding a good system and being faithful in using it every day and night. Good luck.
