When you pray do you get the feeling your just talking to yourself and god is not even listening "wait does god speak english he most likely cant understand you"

God is not a genie. If prayers could move God then God would cease to be powerful. Also, if we consider that God knows everything and created everything then logic suggests everything meant to happen is his design. Thus, praying is telling him you are unhappy with that design and God should redisign this existence to fit your needs and desires. In essense, asking for a blessing is telling God his design stinks. Why pray? Why not just accept?

God understands every thought from every being that has ever lived animal, vegtable, mineral human. God is the source. I never feel that God is not there. Try praying with your own words and think of God as your best friend that you can say absolutely anything to. Picture the inner you feeling absolute, unconditional love, no matter what and you will begin to get a glimpse of God. He's there, honestly. He loves you completely.

I use too but then I gave up on him like he did me...I have longed to feel him and know that he was there but I feel nothing inside as far as he is concerned...I think he has forsaken me...Now I am atheist and feel free of the emotional distress he had caused me...
