  • nope can't say that I have.but heres some points anyway
  • The issue stems from a mistranslation of the term 'eonian' life (life during the period of the eons) as 'eternal' life - the only options at the judgement are eonian life or eonian punishment... God eventually saves all from sin and shares His complete happy experience of eternity with everyone... God reconciles all to Himself through Jesus Christ, Who makes peace through His shed blood and crucifixion (Col 1:20). Jesus is the Lamb of God Who takes away all the sins of all the world (Jn 1:29). The creation itself, also, shall be freed from the slavery of corruption into the glorious freedom of the children of God (Rom 8:21). Hell's punishment is not forever but until the end of the eons. People don't sin enough during their mortal lives for God to choose endless punishment besides it would spoil the future of eternity to have a section continually reserved for endless torture... People are made by God to rebel against His ideal will for them and then offered a choice - forgiveness of their rebellion, or, punishment for their sins until they have paid the last penny... After punishment, those who went through torture in hell come to realise they need faith on God to succeed in life and they are converted into God's kingdom so that they cease from sinning and are rewarded for their compliance... There are two bible translations which uphold the doctrine of Universal Reconciliation with God, and the union of all beings into experience of God as the all in each of us. For a free download of these bibles you can try this website: http://www.scripture4all.org/ An outline of the bible references which support Christian Universalism has been posted at this webpage: http://uk.geocities.com/timpauloconnor@btinternet.com/CUBibleRef.html
  • They do get to live forever, in punisment, in the lake of fire.
  • There are two resurrections: one to damnation and the other to life. It is true that everyone will live forever. However, the second "death" that is referred to for those who are damned is talking about the eternal repeal of God's grace from sinners. Sinners will live forever in the shame and keen awareness that they have rejected Christ with no further opportunity to accept Him as Lord and Savior. Eternal life, however, is described a little bit more in the Bible, and it includes having a renewed body (Phil. 3:20-21 and 2 Cor. 5:4-5) and being eternally in His presence (Rev 21). Being in the presence of God IS LIFE. So while the unrepentant will live forever in torments, their eternal existence, by comparison is eternally DEATH.
  • Maybe they mean "quality life" as opposed to "quantity life".
  • Romans 6:23 is speaking of the wages for sin in this life is death. It isn't talking about eternity. That is the judgement of God.You will spend eternity in the lake of fire for ever and ever.
  • Romans 1:18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. 20For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. 21For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures.
  • Oh, sinners will live eternally, all right...in Hell. But for the believers, they will have eternal life in heaven, in the presence of God.
  • I do not know what "Christians" you are refering to. A lot of people/religions attempt to climb under the umbrella of Christianity. This, in itself, does not make one a Christian. A lot of people also feel that if they believe in Christ, they are Christian. Satanists believe in Christ - Budist believe in Christ - so do Jewish people. This does not make them Christian. So, setting that aside... Christians believe we all live for eternity, we all have eternal life. It is just "where will one spend this eternity?".
  • The sinners whom do not accept Jesus as the savior will not burn forever they will be snuffed out in the lake of fire for the 2nd death the death of the soul.
