The PC wont boot I put in a new power supply and now the HD CDROM and CPU fan are on but the computer still doesn't boot any ideas?

it doesn't even get that far into it the on off switch isnt turning everything on the power supply does which didn't really make sense to me. im assuming the processor is the culprit can anyone confirm?

Serious question - are you certain the hard drive's connected to the PSU?

yes you can here it spinning but the power supply is regulating the power its like the motherboard and processor aren't there bios doesn't even come on

All you can do is fiddle, oh and nothing says the new power supply is good.

Try removing and reseating all connectors, pull the RAM and reseat... look around and maybe poke a bit. Make sure you didn't bump anything else loose and hope you discharged static properly.
