  • some graphics cards are having a lovely time with vista drivers, try finding a updated driver for the vidcard from the card manufacturer, also some older games, ESP win9x games for one do not like new graphic cards, and HATE Vista, or even XP. I cannot get shadow warrior running on my(well my bf took it) XP machine, the game maker said it was either the driver, or the game doesnt like the videocard.
  • The game itself, during setup, may have installed a video driver changing the one you had, and that is incompatible with Vista. Try Windows Update and look for hardware updates before you do anything. If that fails go to the nvidia site and get their latest vista driver for your card. You'll get it straightened out. Save that game for an old spare win98 computer. :)
  • So not sure if I have to even say this.. but did you try restarting your computer?
  • Have you reset the resolution in your display properties? Also, if you want to play Grim Fandango, did you set it to play in compatibility mode?
