Personally no, but thats because I own an iPod Touch. I know plenty of people that have Zunes though and love them and say they wont touch an iPod after using their Zune.

my brothers go one, he seems to like it but the software it comes with is amssively slowing down our computer

Love it! Alot cheaper than the Ipod and it does what I need it to do.

I love my Zune. I've had it for a little over a year, and have enjoyed it so much. The only problem I've come across is that once I switched over to Ubuntu, the software obviously isn't compatible with the Linux OS's. Because the iPods are more widely used, there is alternative software for it, whereas with the Zune there isn't.

i know one person who loves their zune and won't go back to ipods now. another person i know is neutral about them, doesn't really care, although he would prefer an ipod b/c his car has a built in ipod adapter

Microsoft has. Look at how much money they have made off of them! Remember, Microsoft isn't in business to make quality software or hardware; they are in business to enhance shareholder value. No matter what you say about the Zune, Windows, or the Xbox/X360, you HAVE to admit that they are good at making money!
